At Paisley's 6 month check up she was in the 12% for height! :( And in about the 47% for weight. Yesterday she actually flip-flopped. She is 17 lbs. 10 oz. which is only 25% and is 27 1/4 inches long which is in the 45%! So the Doctor described her in two words I would have never thought of...tall and thin!?! Ok! She eats like no other, its one of her favorite things so I don't know why she is so "thin"! But she is growing so thats good news. She looks older and bigger by the day, I miss the tiny newborn Paisley some times, especially on the days that I am constantly chasing her around!;) She makes our days more fun and exciting. I love her cheesy smile, her laugh and the gibberish.

Here she is yesterday enjoying a raspberry sucker she found and broke into! I let her have it for a while...it was almost bath time anyway!

More Fun!

Thursday I took Paisley to the Local County Fair. I think she liked seeing all the animals and hearing all the noises they make. She also had some curly fries and could have eaten them all day!

Friday we headed off to Casper to watch Jordan play in the Wyoming All Star Game. Paisley went to her first Chinese Buffet and LOVED it! I think one of her favorite things to do is eat and she was happy to try a variety of food!

We also took her swimming in the hotel pool and she had fun this time. All the pools we have tried so far are too cold and she just cries, but she had fun kicking and splashing!

Saturday we watched Jordan play and she finally learned how to clap so she was Jordan's number one fan!
We are home now and she finally has her nine month check up today, and we are hoping she is in more normal ranges than she was at the six month mark!

It's Done

Today was the last day of my internship! Coming here I didn't really know what to expect and was soo nervous, but now that I'm done I can't believe how the time flew by. I didn't know how much I would end up liking these teens and wanting them to make better choices for their lives! I hope more than anything they will take what then learn and use it to better their lives! They are so young and have so much to live for, its just an matter of them seeing it for themselves...and hopefully it happens sooner rather than later!I loved it, and if anyone out there is unsure about their major...choose Social Work!!! Its awesome!!!
Now all I have to do is wait for my diploma to come in the mail!
Can I get a hallelujah!

July 16

We got Paisley to take a couple steps today! She stood up using the table like usual, I stuck my hands out and she took two steps and then fell. We got her to do it a few times using some taffy as bait. We'll see if she can be consistant and take a few more steps each day! I think we'll have her walking in the next few weeks! Excitng yet now we will be even more busy! Its so fun watching her learn new things!!!

Nine Months In

And nine months out. I can't believe Paisley is already 9 months old, and in only 3 short months we'll have a 1 year old!! She is a sassy little thing, and she keeps is BUSY! She likes to get into everything she shouldn't. She likes to crawl, but loves to walk along things, like tables and couches. She isn't quite walking yet, but is getting closer, she will stand up and then let go but isn't too sure about taking any steps yet. Of course we still love having her around and try to keep up with her throughout the day!

I thought these two pictures could be a comparison as to how much bigger she is now (in the younger one she is 2 months and the other one was taken today at 9 months), but after looking at them I'm not too sure. At six months she was only in the 12% in height! On saturday we went to a BBQ and there was a 6 month old baby there and people were asking if they were the same age. I know 3 months isn't too much of a difference, but I thought she would look bigger when around other babies. Her nine month check up isn't for about a week and a half, so hopefully she is in a more normal range, but we'll see.

A few weeks ago we ordered the workout program P90X. Tomorrow will be the completion of my second week! This guy is seriously crazy. You definitely get a good workout, but at certain points I have literally wanted to reach into the t.v. and kill this guy! He is way to energetic to be doing such difficult and painful exercises. But he keeps you going, only making you have the urge to barf a few times here and there. :) After the first week my whole body was hurting from head to toe...no lie! I'm sure I will see some results but at times wonder what the Heck I was thinking. Its a 12 week program. 2 down, 10 to go!

My Little Mess Maker. Maybe she thinks she is helping...but then again, maybe not!
