Mule Days and Horse Shoe Lake

This morning we headed off to Ralston to take part in their Mule Day Festivities. This is exactly what is sounds like, there are quite a few people and the day is devoted strictly to Mules. How do you get a mule you might ask...? A male Donkey and a female horse. Mules cannot reproduce, they are strictly made from horse and donkey breeding. (I did not know that till today) We walked around and looked at several mules and booths and then went and sat down to watch the parade. It was short but fun. Paisley got to ride a mini donkey, but wasn't too fond of petting the mule, maybe next time.

After that we made a quick stop at Wal Mart and then we were off to Horse Shoe Lake in Lovell for their opening day. We ate snacks, talked and tried to put Paisley in the water but she didnt really enjoy it. She wanted to stick with eating and crawling around. It was a fun day!

This Week

This past week Josh and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary! I wasn't quite ready to leave Paisley over night so we went up to Billings for the day.
We ate here
And it was so nice to be able to eat at my own pace and not have to share everything with my Boss Lady Paisley!
Josh also humored me and we went and saw this
After that we did a little shopping and then headed home! It was nice to spend some time with just the two of us! Much needed and I think we both had a good time!

This week I also continued to put in some hours working on my internship, and saturday we went to Cody and walked around "Main Street" and then visited a Japanese internment camp that was run during the time of WWII. It was pretty interesting to see where they were held and to think about how sad it must of been for them to live in such a place! Here are a few shots from that. There are only a few left standing and they have been boarded up, but I think they plan to restore it and do tours.

A massive gun, The Irma Hotel that Buffalo Bill built for his daughter, some nice bikes, and a white Bison (I think).

My Baby

Paisley is 8 months old today! And the time really is flying! She can do so many more things than she could do even a month ago! She finally says "Mama", she crawls, stands up on everything, eats anything we eat, copies you when you do something to her, and is very good at getting what she wants! She is getting to be more and more fun!

Her New Trick and The Park

I put Paisley down for her nap yesterday and after some time of fussing I went in to check on her and she was standing up staring at me! This was the first time she has actually stood up in her crib, she will usually sit up and talk to her self and play with her blankets, but now she has discovered a new trick. She continued to do this for every nap! She also can crawl now and loves to try and pull herself up on anything and everything! She cracks us up and makes our days brighter!

Paisley loves being outside and really enjoys the park!
