Paisley and Gwenevere

Every tuesday and thursday Paisley gets to spend a few hours with her friend and neighbor Gwenevere! They like to talk and hold hands. Gwenevere is such a happy peaceful baby and Paisley can be quite the opposite at times! I think she might teach her friend how to be naughty, but until then they'll just talk baby to eahcother!

I think they knew eachother in Heaven, but their friendship here began at the hospital.

Hangin out in their chairs...I guess Gwen was tired!

What did you say?

Come this way!

They are too cute!!

This is where I will be on March 4, 2009!!!! I was watching the news last night and they are finally finished with the (2) Targets here on the island and one will be opening on this day!!! I was seriously so excited, I love Target and have been waiting for it to open for too long. I only wish it would have been here the whole time we've been here. I have missed it since we left Washington and can't wait to go check it out. One of them took over a Costco building, can you imagine how huge it will be!!! But anyway, I just wanted to share. I love Target and can't wait!!! Hawaii doesn't know what they've been missing!!!

4 Months

Paisley went to the Doctor this morning, and I always for get to ask what percentile she is and they never tell me. But today I asked and then left the office without getting the answer, I guess we both forgot to figure it out. So I Googled it, I'm not sure how accurate it is because I have never seen a chart and am not 100% sure on how to read it. But she weighed 14.6 lbs. (75%) and she was 24 inches (50%), I don't remember her head size, but it looks like a good size, cute lttle head. She also had to get three more shots and took them pretty good with just a little more crying than last time, I'm just happy she doesn't really have much of a memory yet, she just sits there and stares at the lady getting the needles and vaccines ready and is just so happy till she gets the poke. After her last appointment she was her normal self and I am hoping she will be the same today. We also plan on starting rice cereal so she will hopefully stop needed the early morning meetings with my boob! So that should be fun, I hope she likes it and that it fills her up!

On another note, my surgery went good and I am less and less sore every day. I'm just happy to have it out and not have to be paranoid everytime I eat!

This Friday consists of many things:

Paisley will be 4 months.

Exactly two months until this!!!!! Home!!!!

And I am saying goodbye to this ridiculous body part.

Since I have had Paisley my galbladder has been giving me problems, and by that I mean horrible pains that make me wish I was giving birth again! After some middle of the night attacks, a trip to the ER, abdominal ultrasound, and blood tests it has been determined that I have multiple galstones! So tomorrow morning I am going in to have it removed and hopefully solve all my problems! Yay!

So a couple days after Christmas Paisley started sleeping through the night. But the past week she has decided that she wants to wake up at around 3 and 6 and than sleep for another hour or so!!! I make sure I change her and feed her plenty before I lay her down for the night, but nothing seems to work! I still get plenty of sleep, but I just got so used to not being interupted!!! She also has her 4 month checkup next week and she can start having rice cereal soon, maybe that will help fill her up, but I really don't know why she has had a change of heart all of a sudden....Any advice or tips would be appreciated?

Ladies and Gentlemen

Miss Paisley Brown.

My friend Elizabeth showed me how to upload videos yesterday (I'm still learning all this blog stuff) so I thought I would give it a try. Paisley was in a happy mood, and playing with one of her favorite blankets that makes noise. She loves to talk and make noise herself too. Sorry its nothing too entertaining, but what can I say, she's only 4 months old. But I just thought I would share for those of you who haven't met her yet, and I'm sure there will be many more to come now that I am not so slow.

She's A Swinger

You know, the kind on the playground. I was bored the other day and thought Paisley might enjoy swinging. I know she's small, but she seemed to like it (no crying) and it passed some time.

She wasn't into looking straight for some reason she wanted to look at the other swings next to her.

Josh kept Paisley occupied while I got ready for church.

Then it was Paisley's turn to get ready. Her sleep and wake times aren't really on a set schedule, I had to wake her up in order to get her ready just to be at church a few minutes late!

And the finished product. In her little Princess-like dress from her Grandma B. She's pretty cute if you ask me!
