Little Shoes for Little Feet

I thought Paisley looked sooo cute today. I love her little flip flops!

Don't worry about her neck, she does have one and I hope your not too offended by her gang sign she's throwing up.

Thanks Crystal

I am somewhat "special" when it comes to blog backgrounds, I have tried before, but had no success! So thank you Crystal for helping me figure it out last night, I'm suprised at how easy it was! Now I can have more fun and maybe Josh won't make fun of me anymore!!! Yay!

Another Birthday

On monday we went out to eat with some friends of ours. Although we were just at The Cheesecake Factory for Andrew's Birthday last month, I liked it so much I wanted to go back for mine!!! So we had fun hanging out, eating and talking! And we also got to meet the "Dog's" Wife, Beth (you know, the one with the massive chest). I would have much rather met him but she said hello to everyone, and declined for a picture since she wasn't wearing makeup and her hair wasn't done. I had a good time and am happy to have gone out with everyone!

On tuesday, Josh took the day off. I had one class in the afternoon, but once I got back me, him and Paisley went out to eat at Ted's Bakery over by Pipeline. We've been here over 2 1/2 years and had never eaten there. I've had the pies from Foodland, but never officially ate at Ted's. The food was good and now I can mark that off my list of things to do before we leave. Later that night we went out for ice cream, which was nice as well. I guess the main thing I got for my Birthday will probably be about 5 pounds between the two days of eating!

Another fun year come and gone and a new one on its way.

Friends

Friday night our friends Sheila and Pat came over and hung out for awhile. So Paisley and Kailani had a brief slumber party and then they both decided to wake up eventually and had some nice friendly baby conversation and noise making session.

And then all day on friday I was thinking about our neighbors James and Elizabeth because they went into the hospital that morning hoping to have their little baby girl. And she finally arrived at midnight on friday! So we had to go visit them on saturday and introduce her to Paisley in person. She is just the cutest thing, so sweet and tiny. She weighed 6.37 lbs and was 19.5 inches long! She was like nothing to hold compared to Paisley, who looked like she could eat her or something. So Paisley had fun visiting with her newest friend, Miss Gwenevere Isa Roemhildt!

3 Months

I can't believe my baby is already 3 months old. Everyday is an adventure and we are definitely having fun. Paisley is learning and growing all the time. She loves to smile, make fun noises, eat her hands and suck her thumb, try and sit up (although she can't do it on her own yet), stand when we help her and don't forget the whole crying thing! I just love her cute little smile, big brown eyes and her chubbiness! Sometimes I wish I could just live in slow motion and just enjoy every minute of having her around even more. Don't get me wrong, I'm no saint and I have plenty of things to work on, Patience being the number one thing. But my days are so much better having her in them!
p.s. we met again with the surgeon and we decided to wait and see if her belly button heals on its own, so no surgery as of now!!! And she has hit the 13 lb. mark, she is now 13 lbs. 3 oz. We decided that she stores most of her weight in her cheeks and thighs!!!

Back To School

So classes for Winter semester started today. I can't say I'm necessarily excited, but I am happy that I am on my last and final semester. Its definitely going to be bitter sweet when we leave, but like I have said before I'm just ready to get started. I keep telling Josh I'm so ready to finally have my own stuff, I want to attempt to decorate (hopefully a house), paint, have my own furniture, etc! Josh actually agrees and is looking forward to us buying our own house sooner rather than later!

On another note as I was watching Oprah during her Best Life Week today. She had two Priest/Reverends (whatever you wanna call them) and they said that being Gay is a gift from God?.?.? I don't have anything against gays/lesbians and I'm no expert but I don't know where they got that idea from...a gift...?

We're on our Way

So last week we finally took the plunge and bought our tickets home, since they've been so cheap. I am very excited that we are flying in to Seattle and staying for a while before we head over to good old Wyoming for my internship. We leave here only a few days after finals (April 13th). And I'm already having slight anxiety thinking about all the things we have to do to get ready to make the big move back home. I know its going to go by sooo fast and its crazy how much stuff you can collect over almost three years! But I've been told we should just start early, so hopefully I will take the intiative soon to get the ball rolling and start organizing, selling and getting rid of what we don't use.
I also know its going to be hard and I will be sad to leave this place and all our friends, but we can't stay here forever, right?
