We had a Christmas Miracle around these parts on Christmas Eve, Paisley decided she would sleep through the night. We enjoyed it eventhough I knew it would be short lived, atleast she only wakes up one time during the night anyway. Josh's beard is making a come back so I got him a beard trimmer for Christmas! Not too exciting but useful. And I went shopping today as my gift, I was guaranteed to get what I wanted and also got some good deals. We hope you all had a fun and Merry Christmas!

Bling Bling

So I decided to take Paisley and get her ears pierced. I was nervous at first but she took her shots so well, I figured she would be fine. And she really did do good, she barely cried and then slept the whole way home. She has the little silver studs in for now, but we got her some baby diamonds as her little Christmas gift.

A few times this month when I put her in a Christmas outfit, people assume she's a boy even whe she has a headband on simply because she's weaaring red and green. I better not hear anyone call her a boy now. I think she looks cute!

The other day we took Paisley for a swim over at Turtle Bay. The kiddie pool is slightly heated and since she loves taking bathes I figured she would like to try and swim, with a little help from me of course. She didn't cry one bit, the water wasn't quite as warm as her bathes but she still liked kicking her legs and arms.

Check Up

My little baby had her two month check up this morning. She weighs 12 lbs. 2 oz. and is 22 1/2 inches long. Unfortunately she had to get three shots. She was so tired that she kept falling asleep in between seeing the doctor and then the nurse for the shots. She was woken up by a nice cold alcohol swab and a prick in the right thigh. She cried but quickly got over the first one. She then got two more in her left thigh which must have been worse than the first with a little more crying and slight holding of the breath! Her cry was so sad, but I was suprised at how fast she got over getting three shots in a row. She was asleep again by the time we left the office. Once we got home she was back to herself smiling and trying to talk. Hopefully she won't have any allergic reactions or a fever. She has an appointment tomorrow morning with another doctor who will examine her herniated belly button and decide whether or not he feels that she will need surgery to correct it. So we'll see how that goes.

I just love this girl so much! So cute!

Yay for graduation. President Eyring came as the General authority and he was great. He even stood up the whole time to shake all the graduates hands. It was fun and I can't wait till I am officially done, however today made me realize that it will be hard when it comes time for us to leave, I guess I'm kind of attached or something.

(I took some of these with my cell and thanks to Elizabeth for all her pictures.)

My Baby

My little baby is already 2 months old. It going by too fast!

Crazy Weather

This is what we woke up to this morning.

It had been raining all night and throughout the early morning. The water came up to our front door but luckily did not come high enough to enter our apartment. Others in our complex were not so lucky and were flooded. Hopefully it will slow down and not cause any more damage. You can't tell but the water in front of our building came up to some guys knees, and the streets were so bad Josh couldn't even get to work. On a good note, I had a presentation as a final scheduled for this afternoon and since the school was pretty much closed down my teacher sent out an e-mail saying we could turn everything in via the internet. Nice huh. Forget snow, we had a rain day.

Finals Week

So fall semester classes are now over!!! I had a final today, I have a paper due on Wednesday and a group powerpoint presentation on Thursday, then I get a nice little break until January! I am pretty excited that I only have ONE semester left and I will have my DEGREE!!!! I won't be here for the graduation ceremony in June so I am walking this Saturday. Some may think its weird because technically I do still have one semester left, but I figure I did not go to four years of college to not have a graduation. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is getting closer and closer!!!!! I enjoy my major, the classes and the teachers, but I am so ready to be done. I know I'm going to be sad to leave Hawaii, but its almost time to start another chapter.

Little Toes

I didn't have class today, so me and Paisley just ran some errands and hung out today. I think she is growing or something because she seems to be sleeping more. Boredom took over today during one of her naps. Her nails grow so extremely fast that I have to clip them about once a week. So I decided it was time for her first mini pedi! I can't wait till she is older and we can go get our nails done together. She has cute little toes and now they look even better in pink!

(My camera isn't the greatest, but you get the idea.)
