This Girl

This week we have had my friend Maison visiting. Paisley had her first Wal Mart run, went to Pearl Harbor, had her first Thanksgiving and finally got to enjoy the beach! This girl can drive us so crazyand half the time I don't think she even knows what she wants! But we love everything about her, from her curly hair and cute little smile to her sassy and stubborn personality.

So our little Paisley has completely taken over our lives. Everything seems to revovle around her and I'm assuming thats how it will be for a long time, but I guess we wouldn't have it any other way. Its so fun to watch her grow and do her own little thing every day. She has started to become more alert and will follow us with her head and eyes when we walk around. She has even been smiling but we can't seem to get it on camera. This girl is also growing so fast,I guess she has always been a big girl but she has been sleeping a lot lately and is growing by the minute or something. I love her thunder thighs, if you will, and her chubby cheeks!!

I have been told by everyone that she looks just like her Dad! I guess thats what I get for carrying her for nine months, going through labor and giving birth, a baby that looks nothing like me...

November 13th, 2008

It's hard to believe our little Paisley is already one month. She has taken over our lives (in a good way) and we love having her here! She has such a cute chubby face. And the only thing she has gotten from me so far is her double chin! I'll have to scan some of Josh's baby pictures because its crazy how much she looks like he did at her age. Hopefully she'll look somewhat like me as she gets older.
Some of the things I have learned about Paisley in these past four weeks are she loves her baths, she loves to be held of course, she is good at taking a bottle, but not so great using a pacifier, she hates her carseat, she loves pooping in freshly changed diapers, and she does not like to eat and poop at the same time(but I guess who does...?)
Paisley had her one month check up today. And from her last visit only three days after she was born weighing in at 8lbs. 5oz. she now weighs 10lbs. 1 oz. and is still 21 inches long. She was born with a cone head and once the swelling went down she wasn't quite that long, so she has grown. She did great during the appointment too, she didn't cry once, so that was nice!

One of the many faces we love!

She is so sweet when she sleeps.

Hello everyone!

A half smile going on!

The Weekend

So this weekend, we didn't do anything overly exciting. Saturday Josh played a basketball game with a New Zealand team who came to play in a tournament this friday and saturday. They lost, but he still had fun. We dressed Paisley up in her little Jordan gear for the game, and either she didn't like it or she just couldn't help herself because right when we got there she decided to poop all up her back and on her little onesie. She likes to poop that for sure. So into a new outfit she went. And sunday of course we had church. I think I have a little rebel baby or something, who already hates church. She will be fed and sleeping, but the second sacrament starts she wakes up, cries and continues to be fussy for quite a while. I usually take her out and then she calms down. After church we took a little stroll over to the temple. And tomorrow starts a new week. I finally plan on getting the baby announcements sent out, now that she is four weeks old already. All well.

Happy Birthday Joshua

Today is Josh's Happy Birthday! Paisley and I are lucky to have you, we love you and hope you have a great day! (sorry if you missed the pictures I posted earlier)

So we didn't dress Paisley up, but she wore a little Halloween onesie. She pretty much slept all day, but instead of sitting around all night we decided to go with our friends and their kids trick or treating. She slept in the stroller the whole time and then eventually got hungry so we had to call it a night. I can't wait to take her next year for the real deal!!!
