32 Week Appointment

I was finally able to get to the doctor since I've been back. I had my 32 week check up on friday. It went well and everything seemed normal until she went to listen to the heartbeat. It was strong but wasn't where she had expected, I guess out little girl is trying to be difficult or something, because Dr. Shimizu said she is in the breech position! What the heck. She said there is still a few more weeks for her to move into the head down position, but if by 36 or 37 weeks she hasn't changed they can try and move her, but if no luck most likely I will have to deliver c-section. Which I really don't want to do. Yikes! So she told me to talk to her or get into a pool or the ocean and try to get her to flip, so hopefully she will cooperate and move to where she needs to be. But other than that my pregnancy is still going really well, I feel good and am getting plenty of sleep considering I get the bed all to myself, theres nobody pressed up against me and I'm not being elbowed in my sleep. I have just been cleaning, washing and organizing before the baby comes, not to mention school started last week, so I better get working on that...

Baby Shower

So we had a baby shower yesterday, thanks to my Mom and friend Ciera! We ate food, played a dirty diaper game opened presents and of course talked. We were grateful to everyone who came and for all the cute gifts! This girl has so many things its ridiculous! We wont even know what to do with all the clothes, I guess she'll just have to wear multiple outfits in one day! I had a good time and have never been so excited to open presents that really weren't even for me. I can't wait to use what we have gotten.

Food of course.

Friends

She'll have plenty of cute things to wear.

My Mom's friend Jackie sent me these nice flowers!

Grandma Nancy sent a package and made sure the baby wont have to wear the same bathing suit to the beach twice! (Dont mind my face, I must have been in the middle of saying something. Not to mention the slight elephantitus I have been experiencing!)

30 Weeks

It doesn't seem as though there is too much of a difference from the last two weeks, but my belly is definitely growing larger and larger. (I pretty much feel huge!)Its not too uncomfortable, I have had a really good pregnancy so far. I guess the hardest thing is sleeping. Both falling asleep and then staying asleep, the past few weeks I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and once I'm awake I feel hungry so I usually have some cereal and then don't fall back asleep for about another hour. I usually end up tossing and turning, I tell Josh I sleep better when I'm in the bed alone, but for some reason he wont sleep on the couch despite my best convincing. I guess its not too much longer, I should probably enjoy what sleep I get now!

Josh's Beard

Ever since Josh graduated he has decided to stop shaving! While he was a student he was required to shave regularly and had even been turned down a few times for certain things because he was considered "unshaven". So its been almost 8 weeks now and he is enjoying every minute of his beard. I don't mind it so much because I know its temporary (he plans on shaving it before heading back to Hawaii). Although I was looking at him today and it definitely needs a little bit of trimming seeing as it is starting to curl over his lip. It must be a guy thing...Yikes!
